After not drinking alcohol for a long time, I have recently been experimenting with scotch and bourbon. No conclusions yet but it seems that I am reacting better (no headaches) to scotch, particularly Johnnie Walker Black. No question, just an observation. Comments welcomed. Thank you, Sam.

I never drink enough to get headaches but when I first started getting interested in whisky it was Crown Black and a wide variety of bourbons that I decided I liked, until I started checking out scotch.

I have a total of three non-scotch whiskies out of about 40. Two of them were gifts and out of the two one is essentially an American-scotch and the last of is Crown Reserve.

Everyone will have their own preferences in all things and while I still enjoy a good bourbon, scotch is the ticket for me.
