Default How to age bourbon in a personal barrel

Hi, new to the forum so be nice haha. Anyway I want to get a little barrel and age bourbon. First off what's the best little barrel to get? Also I like drinking Evan Williams, I know it's cheap so don't judge. Will that age well in the barrel? What would be the proper steps to take. Thanks for the help.
