Default Opened a Glenmorangie Original

Nothing to write home about but ok for $30 including tax. Noticeable oak, easy to tell it was aged in Bourbon barrels, and a soft touch of spicy licorice. Wonder how long before I start spiking it with Ardbeg 10?

Just a small dribble of Ardbeg 10 improves it immensely.

Yep, it's rather lackluster, the Ardbeg 10 livens it right up. I think I'll avoid buying another, the more I drink it the more I get the bourbon taste.

The Original replaces Glenmorangie 10. What do you expect? To me, it is an "okay" basic Scotch.

Bought the 10 years ago. Never bought it again.
Tasted like a light cheap beer.

Probably a good description for it. Welcome back Oscar.

The latest fad here is I found a dust covered bottle of Drambuie in the back of the booze cupboard and have been mixing about 20% Drambuie & 80% Glemorangie Original. It will be a surefire way to kill off the Glenmorangie.
Don't want to waste the Ardbeg 10.
