Default How good is Aberlour?

I have a bottle of Aberlour 10. Is this brand one of the top brands of whiskeys?
Thanks

Aberlour is a top flight distillery and well worth a visit should you ever make the trip from Montenegro. So yes, a very good brand. The 10yo that you have is their cheapest entry level malt whisky. Enjoy.

I rather enjoy Aberlour. Good stuff, all.

I just decanted a full bottle of A'bunadh into an empty Balvenie bottle using a plastic funnel. Life can be strange.

Because Balvenie bottles are more attractive?

The 16yr is my favorite. Glenlivet 16 Nadurra reminds me of it a bit. The A'Bunadh is second, followed very closely by the 18yr.

The Balvenie bottles are a joy to use and have a drip saver rim. The Aberlour bottles are like cast iron ingots with a 2 inch hole in them.

Aberlour is sherry heaven. Even the 10 yr old is great. I think it's one of the best low priced scotches out there.

I'm 3/4's of the way past my first bottle of Aberlour 12 year. I really like this stuff.
The local store has a sale at $35.00 a bottle right now.
I thinks I need to stock up.
