Default New Method For Maturation In Casks

Very interesting article in an Ukrainian magazine about a new method for maturation in casks.

Reminds me of a company in the Isle of Man who said they had invented a method for fast maturing whisky. It worked in the lab but they could never get it to work full scale. In the end they started shipping in matured whisky and carbon filtering it to produce a white whisky. There are 2 or 3 lab methods to fast mature whisky that work small scale but have never been able to work full scale.

Mr Pullegulov (pronounced: pull-leg-off) is not very credible, specially not April 1st.
He now informs that the CaskAid bottling called ”Barley Legal” will not be available 2016 as promised.

Woe is me, but considering that it's more or less an annual occurrence for someone to come up with a "magic" method [and that includes the industry] I took this at face value.
