Default Help identify year of Johnnie walker black label
I was given a bottle of Johnnie walker black label. I’d like to know the year it was made and hold on to it since i believe it’s already 30-40 years old. I can’t figure out how to post a pic. But if you know how to identify the age of a bottle please email me or pm me if that’s possible and maybe I can send an attachment with pics that way????

This is a standard 1970s Black Label bottle -it is hard to be more precise than that unfortunately. Remember whisky does not age further in the bottle !

Thanks for the info, any idea if it’s worth or want for collectors? Is it still too new to be one of the two? I plan on keeping it just because....

Not a great deal of value as Johnnie Walker is one of the largest selling whiskies in the world and 1970s is not old enough for big price increases in general (in blended whisky)
