Default The Balvenie 15 Year Single Barrel - re-invented

The 15 year expression will continue, but not as we know it. See the announcement below:

We're thrilled to share advance notice of the US launch of The Balvenie 15 Year Old Single Barrel Sherry Cask with you. 15 years of maturation in a cask that had previously held Oloroso sherry creates a single malt characterized by dried fruit, nuttiness and spice. No more than 650 hand-numbered bottles are drawn from each sherry butt and each bottle carries the number of the cask in which it was matured.

Be the first to experience The Balvenie 15 Year Old Single Barrel Sherry Cask and enjoy a rare compliment to an even rarer whisky. To mark the release of this exceptional whisky, The Balvenie has collaborated with master woodworker Jason Prigmore to craft a limited-edition, handcrafted bottle stopper. This wooden bottle stopper features rich maple inlaid with custom copper bands, and each stopper, like the single barrel, is individually numbered and personally initialed. As a valued Warehouse 24 member in the USA, we're letting you know that just 400 of these stoppers have been randomly placed in canisters of this new release. Think of this piece as the single malt equivalent of the golden ticket!

For those who don't find a stopper in their canister, we've set aside 200 as a special reward for your loyalty and support. The first 200 Warehouse 24 members in the USA to post to a photo of their new 15 Year Old Single Barrel Sherry Cask to Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #balveniestopper will receive a handcrafted stopper in the mail.

For more information on Jason's process, visit: www.jasonprigmore.com.

Slainte mhath!
