Hello,
Actually, I guess this question applies to any blends of any types of whiskey. I know nothing about them. What little exposure I have had to whiskey has been single malt scotches. Should I explore blends? If so, any suggestions? Are there any peaty or smoky ones? Any other blended whiskeys (or types) I should look into? Last edited by michael; 09-06-2018 at 10:42 PM. |

All of the Johnny Walker lineup are blends and some very good. I like the old Green (with an actual cork stopper) and the Platinum pretty well, not to mention the Double Black.
Taketsuru 17 was voted best blend in the world twice so far. By all means try them out and see which ones you like, and while not always true, if it's cheap, then it has a very good chance of not passing muster. |
