Default Crown Royal XO

Anyone try this yet? I picked one up today. Just curious what your opinions of this were. I got it for $42.99.

Having liked their XR, Reserve, Cask No. 16, Limited Edition and Black, it'll be interesting to see what you've got to say about this one and I'll probably get one when I see it.

On second thought, I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out that they'd just re-bottled their Canadian only Limited Edition for sale stateside, as the price point is just about the same and they've both got a reminiscent bottle shape too.

If anything it won't be repackaging special it will actually be repackaging the cask 16, since it's the brandy cask, but I think it's new because id the price stays the same it's half the price of cask16

I think it unlikely that they'd be repackaging the $100 bottle Cast No. 16 for $43 and the Limited Edition comes in a bottle almost the same as this one for right about the same price, which is why I suspect Limited Edition, which is for Canadian release only, is now finding a way to go south of the border.
