Default HELP! Found over 20 cases of whiskey from the 60's!

Hi all,
I'm new to and I am really hoping someone or many of you can help me. I recently came into ownership of over 20 cases of Scotch, Whiskey and various other liquors. Most dating back to the 60's and of the scotch and whiskey family. Here are some I have cataloged and am hoping to find the value of: Windsor Supreme Canadian Whiskey - A Blend, 80n proof, No. 483410587, the tax seal is in tact and has not been briken. The bottel comes in a red box. Another bottle of the same brand, 750 mL in a box showing mountains and a person with a dog sled team. Four Roses Premium American Whiskey 4/5 qt. 86 proof, No. 444290272 and it comes in a box. Ballantine's 4/5 qt. that is probably from the mid 60's, Black & White Special Blend of Buchanan;s Choice Old Scotch Whiskey, 4/5 qt. not opened, 2 - White Horse Blended Scotch Whisky 4/5 qt. each, 2 - Chivas Regal one quart No. 432555352 and No. 432555395, Seagrams VO 4/5 qt. 86 proof on tax seal No. 28501040 and the year 1962 on the green label 72241040, it was 6 year aged in 1962, it has the original box, 2- Seagram's VO dated 1967 (6 yrs aged then), No. 521063978 H4304741 I-549 it is in a box w/the gold VO crest, the other bottel is also from 1967 No. 521062059 I-549 H 4304766 it is in the same box, Barclays Bourbon Straight Bourbon Whiskey 5 years old (I'm guessing, its from the 70's maybe earlier) No. 31817349 Blue label #58968954, Lord Barry Blended Scotch Whiskey 80 proof, No. 454010092 4/5 qt., J&B Justerini & Brooks, Ltd. Rare Blended Scotch Whiskey No. 489708953 86 proof, 2 -Sandy MacDonald Blended Scotch Whiskey, 1 qt. 86.8 proof, No. 491596843 & No. 491596842 NY-I-415, 1963 Seagrams VO No. 341776249 Excise 3712926...and there are many more brands. Can anyone advise me?

Hi there Amy - the common brands (White Horse, J&B, Ballantine's, Seagrams, Chivas, etc.) aren't going to hold much worth since they are still being produced and widely available today. If you have anything that was a limited supply or no longer being produced, from a closed distillery or pre-prohibition, there could be value. Try contacting a company such as McTears ( or Bonham's ( with a complete list of your inventory. Both of these companies specialize in valuations. Good luck!

Default Whisky

I am looking for a 1961 bottle of whisky for a friends 50th birthday... and came upon your post. Do you happen to have one?
