For those of you who are not familiar with the Scotch Malt Whisky Society bottling code, Scotch Malt Whisky Society Cask No. 1.124 translates to "1" designating the distillery, which is GLENFARCLAS; as GLENFARCLAS was first inaugaral cask bottled by the SMWS when it was founded, and "124" designating the 124th cask purchased from GLENFARCLAS and bottled by "the society."
