Default What Do You Plan On Opening During The Holidays?

Like most, I am really excited for the holidays, Thanksgiving in particular. I plan on cracking open my 15 year old Tobermory with my dad and brother. I'm sure my dad will pull down a few of his Macallans from his shelf also.

What bottle(s) do you plan on enjoying over the holidays?

Cheers,
Will

I picked these up for the holidays but I will probably save the Macallan for when I come home New Years day.

Being in Alabama, it will all depend on the weather:

Cold? Lagavulin 16
Cold and Rain? Laphroaig 10
Warm? Highland Park 18
World's End? All of the above

Please remember that Dads are not here forever. God if I could only get those last couple of years back with mine.
We loved to fish and BS.
I'll bet he never even tasted a scotch Whisky.
A sip or two of blackberry brandy was his thing.
Sorry, didn't mean to bring things down. just saying I'm still missing mine after 10 years.
Happy holidays everyone.

Buying a bottle of Glenmorangie original for mixing with egg nog. I tried it with the last little bit from my sampler pack and by far the best alcohol addition to egg nog I've tried by far.

What to open over the holidays? Hmmm... I've got quite a few still sealed up in the cabinet.

Maybe Glenrothes 1985? Or perhaps the McPhails 30yr?

The Glenmorangie 12yr Madeira Finish is still up there. It might need to get opened up.

Or maybe I'll just sip on all my open bottles!

I had my brother-in-law over last night, and we busted the seal on an Aberlour A'Bunadh (batch #21), AND Balcones Baby Blue (Texas blue corn whiskey).

I have too many open bottles, so no new whisky this Thanksgiving. Maybe around Christmas!
Though I'll say goodbye to some great ones.
Yamazaki 18
Aberlour A'bunadh
Glenmorangie Signet
Glenlivet Nadurra
And a couple not so memorable.
Cheers!
